Curriculum
The school follows a curriculum, which is in accordance with the specification of the Matriculation Board of examinations, Government of Tamil Nadu. It aims at the attainment of the highest order of academic excellence. The traditional educational system, where the learning experiences were imposed involuntarily and structured and where the pupil was a captive audience rather than a major actor, is happily being replaced by a new era of child-centered education. Thus, in the St. Gemma Matric. Hr. Sec. School, the curriculum has been so framed that the individual child is core of the whole program. An atmosphere of relaxed easy human relationship between the children and the teachers pervades the classroom. The school is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
